BRUSH + PAN MAKING WORKSHOP
I’m offering a limited number of places in my studio for the day to learn how to make at least one if not more brush and pan sets using locally coppiced hardwoods. I would like to offer it to a maximum of 6 people per workshop and each person will have an individual workbench and set of hand tools so no hanging around sharing. I will be providing instruction and my studio assistant will be there to make sure everyone has the opportunity to take away with them the essential knowledge and skills to work responsibly in locally coppiced hardwood.

Start time:10.00 am
Finish time: 5.00 pm
There will be regular breaks throughout the day including a lunch break but please bring your own food although complimentary hot and cold drinks will be provided.
FACILITIES
My studio is based in High Wycombe where there are some local amenities including shops and restaurants within a 10 minute walk away.
TRAVELING TO HIGH WYCOMBE
For those arriving by car the studio is a short drive from J3 and J4 on the M40 and there is plenty of available parking space here at the weekends. Getting to the studio by public transport is relatively straightforward as there is a regular service with Chiltern Railways which connects both Oxford and London Marylebone to High Wycombe. Whether you arrive by public or private transport the journey through the Chiltern Hills is inspiring and you will glimpse areas of woodland where the material you will be using to make you brush and pan was found.
